Polling Places for the 2024 General Election


The San Miguel County Assessor Appraisal staff is conducting reappraisals County wide.  Appraisers can be identified in vehicles with San Miguel County logos.  Staff will present their County issued identification badge and wearing safety vests.  If you have any questions feel free to contact the County Assessor’s office at 505-454-1430

 Goals  Objectives

  • GIS implementation 90% complete
  • Intend to post property owners and maps on Assessors webpage
  •  Provide competent and efficient assessment services in a manner resulting in equitable and fair to all San Miguel taxpayers.
  • Provide mandated by State Law, New Mexico Constitution, Taxation and Revenue Property Tax Division.
  • Locate all taxable property in San Miguel County and identify the ownership.
  • Appraising all property subject to property taxation.
  • List the value of all property on the tax rolls: and apply all legal exemptions.
